Las Vegas, NV Born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii, where he first started dancing at the age of 8 yrs old. Cristyle was heavily inspired by Beat Street and Michael Jackson, but who wasn't at that time? He moved to Las Vegas in 93 where he got into a freestyle dance crew called Ladi Dadi in 95-96. Fun times! The crew slowly died and he got into a bboy crew called Full Force in 97. Cristyle is also one of the original members of the elite Super Cr3w. After High School he moved to San Diego to go to college. Cristyle started getting into Hip Hop choreography with a company called Culture Shock San Diego in 2001. Being in Culture Shock also introduced him to some really talented bboys/freestylers and they ended up joining forces to create Jabbawockeez in 2003. Cristyle graduated from UCSD in 2006 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for dance. Kevin "Keibee" Brewer ![]() Sacramento, CA KB began dancing at a very young and has attained quite a bit of insight on music and movement. His other hobbies are music producing and the art of bonsai. With a movement training method he calls, "Beat Kune Do", KB's ambition is to help aspiring dancers unlock their dance potential. KEVIN BREWER, 31, Sacramento, CA I dance because: Connecting with people is something I enjoy, because life is fleeting. We should build each other up through fellowship and enjoy one another. What inspires me is: I like to inspire and to be inspired Rynan "Kid Rainen" Paguio ![]() Rynan (RAINEN) Paguio started dancing at the early age of 12 as a bboy (break dancer). He was inspired by crews from the early eighties and nineties: Rock Steady Crew, Battle Squad, Air Force Crew, and NYC breakers. He started dancing professionally at age 18. Since then he has danced and competed with some of the best bboys, and hip hop dancers in the world. Winning worldwide events, and guest performing at many worldwide shows. Rainen has danced for many professional recording artists such as Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliott, Chingy, Ludacris, Neyo, Leona Lewis, Pussycat Dolls and Gwen Stefani and has done industrials for companies such as Adidas, Nike, Pizza Hut, Mitsubishi, Anheuser Bush, and Skechers. He has worked in films such as How She Moves and Step Up 2: the Streets where he showed his diversity in dance through stepping, hip hop choreography, and bboying. He trained with some of the best bboys/hip hop dancers in the world like Flo Master(7 GEMS/Footwork Fanatix), Poe ONe(Style Elements/Rock SO Fresh), and Gary Kendell(Mindtricks/Jabbawockeez). He always remains a student and loves learning the history of the dance. Knowing where each dance comes from, the style of the dance, and when it was made. Hip hop dance is an evolving dance that has a foundation but leaves you free to make your own style. Without foundation a house will crumble. Without style you have no soul. Jeff "Phi" Nguyen ![]() Phi Phoenix, AZ Born and raised in Phoenix Arizona, Phi began his dancing at the age of 16. His first professional job was at the age of 18. One year later at age 19 he moved to LA to persue his career as a professional dancer/choreographer. Since moving to LA he has been a well respected HIPHOP instructor at some of LA's most prestigious performing arts centre such as "The edge PAC, Millenium dance complex, Debbie Renolds" along with touring dance conventions such as "urban jam, monsters of hiphop". Not only is Phi respected as an instructor but also as a dancer. His dancing booked him jobs working with artist like the "pussy cat dolls, run dmc" also workin on an ice breaker gum commercial. In 04 Phi joined the Jabbawockeez. Since dancing with the world famous Jabbawockeez phi's dance career has gone from dancer to "artist". What inspires me is: The music Besides dancing, I like to: DJ and skate Advice to aspiring dancers: Listen and become the music Joe "Emajoenation" Larot ![]() Joe started his performing arts dream at the age of 7 for a cultural arts program called Sinag-tala Filipino Theater and Performing Arts Association. At the age of 13, he and a group of friends decided to start a dance crew. At the age of 18, he began his teaching career making his way out of rehearsing in a garage into a studio environment. Performing around local events and teaching his style to other aspiring dancers, he honed his skill and passion for dance. Since then, Joe has been affiliated with groups such as K.a.b.o.o.m squad, Mindtricks, and Culture Shock San Diego. In 2003, he collaborated with his friends in San Diego to form Jabbawockeez. In 2005, he assisted Phil Tayag in co-directing the dance group, "Boogie Monstarz", and following the next year, Joe went on to direct his own dance group, "Press P.L.A.Y" alongside with his co-directors Brandon Greathouse and Jason Magsuci. He is currently managing his time with Jabbawockeez, Press P.L.A.Y., and his family especially his wonderful daughter. His goal is to keep pushing innovative choregraphy and to inspire the next generation with his talents and experiences he has developed so far in his life.
